Photos From Our Skerries Walk-About

Our class went on a Skerries Walk-About to take pictures of different historical monuments within the town which we will use later to draw on comparisons of how the town changed over the last century.

The Skerries Monument:
Q. How did Skerries people get their name of the Skerries Goats? We will answer this question through our project.
 The Skerries Carnegie Library has been here for a shocking 100 years

 Red Island has changed drastically in the last 40 years we will explore the changes:
 This summer the"Springers" and "the Captains" was full of swimmers from early morning to late evening. It may surprise you to find out it was a popular destination for young people 60 years ago:
