We are studying Skerries history in class, we are looking at the vikings and the impacts they made on our town.
Glogster
In pairs, I want you to create a Glogster on a section of Skerries history.
It can be on
the vikings impact on Skerries,
the history of the street names,
the history of the islands,
the history of the memorial pole in Skerries with the visit of our President Michael D. Higgins etc.
You can pick any of the topics we have covered in class and make a Glogster page about it. You will find extra help on the resource page
Task 1:
Find information on your chosen topic online or ask about it from friends and family. Look at the resource page for extra help
Task 2:
Get pictures!
Either online or you can go out and take pictures with a camera. If you need help loading them to the school computers here is step by step:
Connect camera, or put memory card into the slot in the computer.
A box should come up automatically giving different options, click open to view files
If this doesn't happen, open my computer and look for the camera memory card icon and click it.
Find you pictures and select them
Right click and select move to documents or simply drag the photos to documents

upload your photos to the site and fill in the information you have gathered.
